We are back from our 2005 vacation in Norway. Kajsa, Andreas, Juli and I all had a wonderful time. It was amazing to me to see things from my youth again. I told all of you it had been 22 or 23 years, but when I got home my brother Erling corrected me and pointed out that it had been 24 years. No wonder you all looked so OLD! :o)

I cried when I arrived, and Juli and I cried together when we left. The farm in Husnes has always meant a lot to me, and now it means something to my wife and children. I am very grateful to all who extended such hospitality to us. I am grateful that now my family under this roof has met their Norwegian relatives.

We already miss all of you. But I am planning ways to keep in touch. If you are a relative, please tell our other relatives how to find us here in the US. If you want our address, just email me! (See below). Also - there is Yahoo Chat which I use all the time at work. We can also video conference, and I look forward to the day when my mom will sit here at my house with cake and coffee and visit with Gudrun and Gya via a webcam video conference. ALSO - we can send you a CD or DVD of pictures if we had your address. Once you have a copy in Norway you can make more copies over there.

PLEASE do not be a stranger to us! I have a lot of Second Cousins and now my children do too! We want visitors from Norway. We want to come back and visit you, too.

So - let's make sure we keep in touch. My email address is easy - nobody can forget it. It is just my name!
